* The path from material life toward spiritual life, staying alert & attentive, riding the waves of light, and more…  

When you recognize the importance of Spirit and the spiritual path, you may expect spiritual life to match your imagined ideal. You might think it means getting what you want, behaving differently, or being perfect. Or you may worry that the path is too difficult, demands too much sacrifice, or is easier for others.

After meditating this morning, I envisioned myself in a desert with a beautiful oasis in the distance. I realized the desert represented material life, while the oasis symbolized enlightenment at the end of the spiritual path. Around me were people of different races and genders, traveling in fancy cars and old rundown cars, on bicycles and scooters, or on foot – each making their way from material life toward spiritual life. Whatever the modes of transportation available to each individual, we all had a way to move forward on the path to the oasis/enlightenment.

We are in physical bodies living in a material, physical world. That world is transforming. As the veils separating visible and unseen realms thin, our longing for Spirit becomes more apparent. By mistaking this illusory world for solid reality, we have lost sight of the spiritual realm and the fluid presence of energy, the substance that is at the basis of the creation.

Everything, including organic matter, arises from energy, both subtle and gross. By looking outward rather than inward, we have come to see the material world as more real and solid. Now the unseen realm is shining through the density of three-dimensional reality, answering the heart’s yearning for Spirit, compassion, and love.

Light and Transformation

Higher-frequency vibrations of light are penetrating the three-dimensional world, transforming the old world as we see it dissolve around us.

Fear or Love

For some, this transformation stirs fear. Choosing fear over love can harden hearts, narrow vision, and deepen resistance to change. In doing so, we may miss the powerful cosmic shift unfolding around us.

Spirit’s theme for 2026 is Let Go-Purify-Evolve. As we enter the year’s final months, stay alert and attentive. The November and December New Moons and Full Moons will offer powerful opportunities to gather and continue letting go and purifying, helping us evolve toward a new collective humanity and a new world. Through our intentions and commitment to daily practice, we continue riding the waves of light.
