October’s bright blue weather is here in Northern California, and we are seeing signs of fall everywhere, colorful leaves falling, fluffy clouds and blue skies – and even a little rain!

In October courage is the theme for the second month in a row: during these fast-moving times of change, courage is needed! Change takes courage. We must be willing to let go of what we have known, deal with and learn to be comfortable with uncertainty.

To help, WisdomWord is offering a new 10-week Empowerment Teaching series “How Do You Stay Calm During Uncertain Times? FPM!”, starting on Sunday, November 2. We will use Pema Chödrön’s book “Comfortable With Uncertainty”. Years ago in the Wisdom teachings we coined the acronym FPM (Fully Present in the Moment). This was introduced as a way to manage fears that arise from uncertainty. By being fully present, we become mindful, recognize our emotions, and face fears with equanimity. October’s full moon is a Supermoon with emphasis on relationships, and our live channeling circle comes early in the month on Sunday, October 5. Read more about our full moon circle here. Looking ahead, the November full moon is also a Supermoon and is also early, on November 5^th.
