I was paging through the little book  “A Guide for the Advanced Soul” when I came upon the following quote:

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of the initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.”

       What strikes me as important to meditate on, is the elementary truth that the moment one definitely commits oneself, things begins to move. The lack of making a decision leaves us in a state of stagnancy and anxiety – The mind goes into turmoil and endless chatter, tormenting  us with fears of “what if” and all sorts of scary scenarios of the terrible things that could happen if ‘I do’ or if ‘I don’t’. Pretty soon the state of hesitancy has us in a tizzy where we exhaust our selves with over thinking and worry.

      I love  the elementary truth, that once committed, all sorts of things will occur to help …..When you step forward with conviction, and commit to your truth, you are sending the Universe a clear message that this is who you are and where you want to go, you step into the universal flow and whole stream of events occurs from that one decision to take that first step…
